ChristianCare President and CEO MPH, Janice E. Nevin, CEO, is recognized as a top business leader by Delaware Online/The News Journal.

For the fifth consecutive year, Delaware Online/The News Journal has recognised “people who continue to shape Delaware’s future, those who have a major impact on the first nation — from arena motives and shakers, including healthcare, law, business leaders, dining, entertainment, and social media.”
Since 2014, Nevin has overseen the ascension of Christian Carre as a national healthcare leader in the fields of quality and safety, health equity, virtual health and value-based care. At the same time, she led the expansion of Christian Carre services and programs across the region, including Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
“We are particularly proud to increase the value of care while focusing on quality and safety, health equity, improving access and reducing health care costs,” Nevin said.
“We do that through programs such as hospital care in-home care, which offers virtual and in-person care by a team of doctors, nurses, registered nurses and other providers. Medicaid responsible care organizations have also shown significant spending cuts of $6.2 million in 2023 alone, while improving the quality of care for nearly 30,000 Medicaid beneficiaries in Delaware.
“Our quality and patient safety indicators are recognized nationally by US News and World Reports, Newsweek, American Surgeons College, and more. Without the great staff who inspire me every day, we wouldn’t have been able to do this. Our talented caregivers are truly the greatest asset of Christian Carre.”
A visionary co-medical leader, Nevin has guided the transformation from Christian Carre’s health care system to a system that truly impacts health. She is recognized nationally as a pioneer and thought leader in value-based care and population health. These values are exemplified in her commitment to Health Equity and in making quality care more accessible and affordable for everyone in the community ChristianCare serves.
