BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. — A Business Confidence Survey of local business leaders is now available, and Golden Valley Bank is seeking input in both Butte and Shasta counties.
The survey consisted of six questions designed to assess the current state of local businesses and gauge business owners’ expectations for the future.
Golden Valley Bank conducts the survey every six months in partnership with prominent organizations such as the Chico Chamber of Commerce and the Reading Chamber of Commerce.
The most recent survey, conducted in March 2024, revealed that business leaders in both Butte and Shasta counties expect employment levels to increase. This positive trend is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy.
“We are honored to work with the Redding, Chico and Oroville Chambers of Commerce to bring this survey to their business members. The more people who respond, the better the survey will be, so we encourage everyone to participate,” said Mark Francis, President and CEO of Golden Valley Bank.
This survey is for business owners only, and Butte and Shasta counties have their own forms tailored to their areas.
The findings will be made public once the investigation is complete.
