Greenwood Company expands its test lab
Modality Solutions, a leading engineering and advisory firm in the life sciences industry, has launched a new testing laboratory in Greenwood to meet the growing demand for faster, more rigorous environmental and transport simulation testing. The expansion of facility capabilities reduces lead times for shipment verification data by approximately 50%, ensuring Biopharma companies adhere to evolving global regulatory expectations while accelerating critical research.
Greenwood Lab features an expansion in the temperature range from -70°C to +60°C, while maintaining the ability to perform simultaneous hazard testing. It maintains the ability to expand the testing capabilities of modality solutions in the only independent lab that offers this level of testing in the wider temperature range required for advanced treatments. Greenwood is optimized for small-scale studies, including vials and syringes, compared to Modality Solutions’ Bloomington facility, which specializes in large-scale and pallet-level testing.
