Why isn’t Trump hitting the road after his speech?
The go-to move for the president who just gave a Primetime speech before a joint Congressional session is to quickly travel outside of Washington and start glutton sales of suggestions laid out in front of the biggest televised audience they might attract all year round.
Donald Trump did it as the new president eight years ago, but this time it appears to remain Peter Nicholas, Olympia Sonyer and Yamiche Arcindor Report.
Leaving his speech on Tuesday night, Trump had not made a replacement trip offshore, senior administration officials said. He stayed in the White House on Wednesday, meeting with members of the Conservative House Freedom Caucus to discuss government funding.
There’s no place like home: Trump minimized presidential travel in his second term.
Apart from a whirlwind two-day trip, including stops in North Carolina, California and Nevada, and a whirlwind that included stops in New Orleans last month, Trump went to South Florida, where he is ready to go to home and golf clubs.
There seem to be two reasons. For one, Trump has long been a bit home body, along with his same-named Manhattan Tower, the golden comfort of his Palm Beach and the northern New Jersey resort.
“He likes to sleep in his own bed,” a White House official for Trump’s first term said in an interview. “He doesn’t like hotels. He was happy to give a speech somewhere as long as he could popped out on the same day and sleep in his own bed.”
Secondly, when it comes to raw politics, Trump’s name will not be on the ballot again. That is, there is no need to be persuasive to cover the swing state. Those involved in Trump’s political operations said that the next time they have to travel for political reasons, “midterm candidates will be selling candidates.”
Delegation of Task: Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance is looking to visit the US-Mexico border in Eagle Pass, Texas, today to visit the road.

As the US rewinds more support, Ukraine will scramble in the next step
By Andrea Mitchell
In addition to stopping weapons shipping, as John Ratcliffe did today with the FOX business, CIA directors rarely reveal on national television, as the US shares intelligence with wartime allies.
The message of Ukrainian President Volodymi Zelenki: There are consequences for not following the will of the US president. While European NATO partners are in a hurry to rely on things the US has not provided, there are no air defense or intelligence reporting assets that the US can offer.
Currently, French President Emmanuel Macron has proposed a partial ceasefire. Zelenskyy has been doing verbal reflux and has repeatedly apologized for challenging President Donald Trump in his oval office on Friday. And in a speech to Congress, Trump signalled that he may be open to resume negotiations with Ukraine, declaring that he had received “a strong signal that Russians are ready for peace.”
“Isn’t that beautiful?” he added.
Certainly, if Russian leader Vladimir Putin was prepared for peace other than his conditions, it would be “beautiful.” However, there is no US intelligence report evaluation or evidence from the tempo of Russian attacks on Ukraine.
Still, even some of Ukraine’s strongest European supporters say they hope last week that Zelensky has found a way to become a more diplomatic, flattering Trump. Although they understand that leaders of the besieged countries cannot easily ignore the fact that 20,000 Ukrainian children were lured to Russia and given a new name and identity when Trump Extl Putin heard as a partner in peace.
For decades, both parties’ US presidents have supported NATO as a multilateral breakwater against the former Soviet Union and now Russia. It is shocking enough that this administration suddenly reverses its bipartisan foreign policy. But since Friday’s oval office showdown with Zelenskyy, the lifelong change in Cold Warriors has really driven the head.
Some stubborn people are beginning to speak out. Asked last night about the suspension of US arms shipments to Ukraine, Sen. Tom Tillis, Sen. last night, said: Ukraine. ”
What is Tillis’s message to the administration?
He said, “Putin is a liar and a murderer. Let’s get right in Ukraine.”
