Inside the Trump White House, authorities denounced Ukrainian President Voldy Mee Zelensky for a meltdown in the oval office on Friday, expressing their dissatisfaction with the US seeking security guarantees despite the US’ desire to negotiate later.
Authorities told Ukrainian counterparts before the meeting that Trump wants to sign an economic partnership at the ministerial level this week as aides work on security assurance details.
Trump saw the mineral trade as the first stage of a broader economic partnership and told his aides he showed the US effective commitment to security assurances, meaning that it has a vested interest in Ukraine’s economic prosperity.
Officials believe everything was passed on to Ukraine and did not litigate the issue of wanting stronger security assurances to his face, similar to the advice the senator gave Zelensky to praise Trump on Friday morning.
For Trump’s aides, Zelensky expressed skepticism about JD Vance’s view of building peace with Russia, and in their view, he did not take note of his advice when he spoke to the US vice-president about the history of Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began with the annexation of Crimea in 2014.
Vance was questioned about his diplomacy and spurred Zelensky with trouble and spurred him, causing a downward spiral in the oval office. “I’m talking about diplomacy that will end the destruction of your country.”

Vance was cut to Zelenskyy in Opprobrium, which would have been objectively harsh for the enemy, and far fewer in the putative allies. He appeared to interpret Zelensky’s remarks as a shaming to the United States.
However, the rage that Vance criticized Zelensky for being ungrateful to Zelensky appears to have been the moment when his team’s personal views on the conflict between Vance and Ukraine came to the fore.
On Thursday, Trump played his comments last week calling Zelenkiy the dictator when the prospect of closing the mineral trade was considered more probable. “Did I say that? I can’t believe I said it. Next question,” Trump told reporters.

The light-hearted moment concealed the reality that Trump workshopped a “dictator” post about true social with Vance before being sent last week, according to the two who described the issue.
Vance settled in shaming on the basis that Zelensky had suspended the election, and the two clearly ignored the fact that Ukrainian constitutional orders that elections cannot be held during martial law will not be made, as Zelensky was declared when Russia launched a full-scale violation in 2022.

Other US allies, including British Prime Minister, Kiel Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and other American allies eagerly praised Trump this week in their oval offices, but Zelenkey took a different approach, perhaps unconsciously rebutting his personal skepticism.
Trump officials said on Saturday that he still wants to sign a mineral trade, but it seemed unlikely that Trump would attend a fundraising dinner for Zelenkey’s retirement from the US by Maga Inc. Super Political Action Committee in Palm Beach.
One attempt was to save Ukrainian deal after the meeting exploded when Zelensky’s aides proposed that Trump calm the tensions to meet Zelensky and Zelensky one-on-one. But Trump officials declined the offer, according to two people familiar with the issue.
Trump’s view immediately after the meeting was that for him it would be counterproductive to engage in further consultations as Zelensky did not want to sign a peace agreement with Russia.
In the end, Trump’s national security adviser Mike Waltz and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio informed members of the Ukrainian delegation who were waiting in Roosevelt’s room that they needed to leave. A few minutes later, Zelenskyy stepped into a black SUV and was kicked out of the White House grounds.
Appearing on Fox News that evening, Zelensky mentioned Ronald Reagan’s Dictam, saying “peace is nothing more than a mere absence of war,” suggesting that more work is needed to reach “fair and lasting peace” as Putin had already broken dozens of ceasefire agreements. Trump appears unimpressed when he boarded the marine on his way to Palm Beach, telling reporters that Zelensky needs to publicly say he wants to make peace about Putin and stop saying “negative things.”
