INDIANAPOLIS — The New York Giants are including Aaron Rodgers in their search for the veteran quarterback after a strike in talks with Matthew Stafford, sources told ESPN’s Adam Shefater on Friday.
Rodgers is set to become a free agent after the New York Jets announced earlier this month that they would move from quarterback after two seasons. Sam Darnold also said it is expected to be one of the options after last year’s breakout season with the Minnesota Vikings. The Giants were interested in Darnold as a free agent last season before landing in Minnesota. New York has signed Drew Lock to back up on a one-year contract worth $5 million guarantee.
