Explora Journeys is a new lifestyle travel brand in which two luxury ships sail on a global itinerary, providing travelers with a state of marine mind. Explora Journeys promises guests their own private yachts and awaits European elegance.
Explorer ship
The Explora Journeys ship is designed by the Owner MSC Group with European family heritage in mind. The sense of style is reflected in the modern cosmopolitan, boutique hotel atmosphere on the Explora I and Explora II.
The ship is designed to be lively, yet luxurious and intimate. There are 461 oceanfront suites, all with floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies.
Explora I has all the oceanfront suites, including one owner’s residence, 22 ocean residences, 67 ocean penthouses and 371 ocean suites. The suite ranges from 377 square feet to 3,014 square feet, making it the largest in the ocean.
The Ocean Terrace Suite and Ocean Grand Terrace Suite are the largest in the category starting at 377 square feet and 420 square feet respectively.
The Marine Fives provide over 463 square feet of living space, with marine housing starting at 754 square feet. The owner’s residence is the largest suite on board, with a total suite area of 3,014 square feet.
Debuting in the summer of 2026, the Explora III will have a slightly more than 463 suites than the Explora I and II. These include 313 ocean suites, 109 ocean penthouses, 39 ocean residences and two owner residences.
Luxury trip
Explora Journey’s Happiness Experience focuses on delivering a high-end, high-end Taley experience by combining fitness, recovery, nutrition and relaxation opportunities.
Onboard, guests can indulge in culinary experiences, unlimited luxury drinks and access to a state-of-the-art spa.
Journeys Lounge offers entertainment and enrichment that evolves throughout the day, covering the luxurious brand’s Ocean State of Minds.
Offering over 26,909 square feet, the generous outdoor deck offers stunning ocean views and leisure with indoor and outdoor whirlpools.
In addition to this, there is the Atherton Lounge. The lounge offers a social hub that hosts live music and enrichment programs, among other features.
The immersive art experience and privately owned art collection introduces the limited edition screen prints and lithographs by Andy Warhol and Leulichtenstein, as well as the original acrylic and silk screens of canvas by Andy Warhol of Explorer I, showing the Explorer I experience.
Expert Art celebrities provide exclusive and rare opportunities to guide guests into the art and fully adopt the onboarding experience.
The first Explorer II rides at the sea, the buckeractic boutique is committed to luxury and refinement with elegance, creativity and cultural enrichment. The selection introduces a wide range of jewelry selections, each offering guests a unique atmosphere and a sense of authentic craftsmanship.
The marine wellness and fitness areas installed in the Explora III have been reconsidered to provide a unified space dedicated to health. The space further embodying the state of the ocean’s mind provides an outdoor fitness area and an expanded sports court.
Explora travels through the culinary experience
Explora Journeys’Ships offers 18 food and drink venues, including 11 culinary experiences. The culinary experience focuses on healthy and delicious foods from local sources.
The restaurant includes fine dining, European steakhouses and Pan-Asian restaurants.
There is also an all-day dining marketplace with 18 separate cooking stations and a gelateria and crepelies.
In addition to the restaurant, there are 12 bars and lounges, including 8 indoor and 4 outdoor bars. The bar offers a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, wine and beer.
The Explora Journeys ship also offers a variety of other dining options, including suite meals and chef’s kitchens. The chef’s kitchen (pictured above) is an immersive experience in a private kitchen setting on the sea.
Summer 2025
Embodying marine health, Explora Journey’s Summer 2025 cruise collection features a brand new ship itinerary heading towards both the iconic locale and hidden gems.
Notable journeys from the luxury lifestyle travel brand include voyages in the Western Mediterranean that delve into the rich history and breathtaking scenery of the region that stops in ancient cities and calm coastal towns.
Exploring Greece, Italy, Türkiye I combine the ancient vineyards of Turkey with coastal charms and offers guests an outstanding itinerary. Highlights include hidden gems from Puglia and Istria, crystal waters in Istanbul, in the heart of Athens.
Challenging the golden Ibiza era, picturesque squares and ancient cities, Explorer II makes calls in Italy, Spain, France and more, highlighting the unique wonders of the Mediterranean along the way.

Winter 2025-26
Upcoming winter itineraries will offer new destinations and immersive experiences with Explorer I and II.
Explora I offer itinerary in the Caribbean and features Caribbean gems, island bliss, idyllic island and volcanic island mixtures.
Explora II will operate itineraries not only in Central America but also in the Eastern Caribbean.
A highlight that notes both the Explora I and II is San Juan’s fascinating fireworks display.

2026-27 Highlights
Explora III debuted in August 2026 and will offer luxury cruises to the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and North America. Following her maiden’s voyage in Spain, the brand new ship will sail to Western Europe and offer a high-end itinerary before being relocated in Miami for her first winter season.
Other highlights of the luxury lifestyle travel brand include adventures that did not lead to an adventure to Amazon on Explorer I in February 2027.
Explora II will sail through the Red Sea and the Arabian Peninsula from December to March, while the new Explora III will sail through the Caribbean and Central America before arriving in Central and North America in May.
Guests on the Explora I and III have the opportunity to see the New Year fireworks in San Juan, while Explora II people are in the Arabian Gulf for a fireworks experience in Dubai.
