Several Long Island College online programs jump on the latest highly respected national rankings published by US News & World Report. One school has soared nearly 200.
The best mark of the local school programme was the online master’s degree nursing curriculum at Stony Brook University.
The program has taken the view since last year, with one in eighth of the more than 200 people linked to Vanderbilt University.
North Shore Suny School’s online non-MBA business graduate program also ranked high at 74, with an MBA alternative of 147.
Hofstra University in the Hempstead Turnpike in Nassau County also saw improvements to its online MBA program. It was linked to the University of Maryland and moved from 29th to 14th to 15 locations.
According to Newsday, Hofstra’s online master’s education program is linked to Stony Brook among 104 other three schools.
Molloy University, further west of the Rockville Centre, soared 189 spots for its online bachelor’s degree.
This year, the school ranked 57th in 2024 instead of 246.
Elsewhere in Nassau, the New York Institute of Technology’s online engineering master program moved that number up to 66 last year, eight ranks up.
“The methodology varies across disciplines, but they all incorporate metrics that assess how well these programs are designed for distance learners and award affordable degrees in reasonable time frames. “We’re here,” the publication said in a press release.
