Vivek Ramaswamy, a Cincinnati-born biotech entrepreneur who left the Department of Government Efficiency initiative on the first day of President Donald Trump, was scheduled to begin bidding for the governor of Ohio on Monday.
Ramaswamy, 39, is set to launch a campaign in Cincinnati, joining the 2026 Republican primary, a month after the frontrunner and the subsequent estimates. Governor John left the run to make an appointment for the US Senate.
