Bongino ran for the US Senate seat in Maryland in 2012, then moved in 2015 before appearing in Congressional seats in Maryland and Florida in 2014 and 2016. He lost all three races.
In an interview last year, Bongino asked Trump to promise to form a committee to reform the Secret Service, calling it a “failed” agency and criticised it for two assassination attempts last year .
