Pope Francis was flooded with hand-drawn cards and hand-drawn greetings from Roman schoolchildren on Sunday as his Holy Father continues to fight a series of medical emergency at the city’s Gemeri Hospital.
The Pope was admitted to the hospital on Friday, February 14th, where he was tested and treated for bronchitis, the Vatican said. A week after medical treatment, the Vatican announced on February 22 that his holy father suffered from a respiratory crisis and needed a blood transfusion.
He said the clergy state was “still” and “still.” The press conference said from Saturday that “there will be no further respiratory crisis.”
“I can hold you in a hug because I’ll be fine soon.”
Meanwhile, over the weekend, the Pope received dozens of boring cards from Roman school children, urging him to quickly recover to his holy father and send a wish for love and healing.

“Dear Pope, I hope you will soon be well so that you can hold you in your arms. I love you so much,” the Holy Father reaches out to the young girl. Read one letter featuring the picture.
“I love you so much. We hope you get out of the hospital soon,” read another person.

Other greetings included creative illustrations, including a blessed painting of Carlo Acctis and a 3D rendering of Pope Francis, opening the sacred doors of St. Peter’s Cathedral.

The Vatican on Sunday said the Holy Father “keeps alert and remains properly oriented” and continues to receive oxygen therapy “at a high flow” through his nose.
He said that his situation is “complicated” and that the Pope’s prognosis remains “reserved.”

On Sunday morning, the Pope attended Mass with those caring for him at Gemeri Hospital in Rome.
Meanwhile, some of the letters to Francis were looking forward to his release from the hospital.
