University of Colorado quarterback Shedure Sanders is considered one of the top two players in the available positions in the April NFL Draft, and won’t do well at the Indianapolis scouting combine this week.
Sanders won’t do well at Lucas Oil Stadium, but he will meet with the Indianapolis team, sources said. The quarterback is scheduled to arrive at The Combine on Tuesday. Their field training is scheduled for Saturday.
It is unclear whether Sanders has undergone a health check or whether prospects will be doing it at the combine annually.
Sanders is scheduled to throw on campus next month at Pro Day in Colorado. Often, some of the top prospects in each position choose not to exercise at the combine, and instead await a more familiar campus setting.
