American Airlines flights from New York to New Delhi have been converted to Rome due to “bomb horrors,” news agency AFP reported citing airport officials.
American Airlines flight AA292 departed from New York’s JFK International Airport on February 22nd, and was scheduled to arrive in Delhi, but detoured to Rome. The Boeing plane carrying 199 passengers and crew arrived at Rome’s Fiumicino airport.
Italian ANSA news agency said the repurposed it was caused by “suspected bomb threat.”
