The NFL does what it needs to be, Reportedly, the interview Three women Ravens Kicker Justin Tucker has inappropriately engaged during a massage therapy session and are planning to interview him further. Raven, in turn, does nothing.
ESPN confirmed on Friday that the league was talking to the accuser and added this from the league’s office. An investigation is underway. ”
Implicitly about that comment is the fact that an investigation is ongoing. So it means it actually started.
So why doesn’t Raven take action? When the Ray Rice Elevator video came out in September 2014, the Ravens didn’t wait for the NFL to act. Raven cut him off. (Sometimes after that, the NFL hanged rice indefinitely.)
As for Tucker, Raven Comment has been published When the first handful of complaints appeared last month. As the number grew to 16, the Ravens said nothing more.
Innocent constitutional protections up to proven conviction apply only in criminal courts. Tucker has not been criminally charged. He has not been sued.
However, the NFL has its own court system, developed and maintained for the sole purpose of introducing public opinion courts. For the majority of American companies, fraudulent misconduct will not produce employment outcomes as long as employees can continue to report for their work.
The league has created a personal policy of conduct for its sole purpose: protecting the image of businesses that rely on people who buy tickets and watch the game. Teams then often respond to public opinion courts by removing them from roster players with out-of-field complications that exceed field considerations.
Right or wrong, fair or unfair, the team cuts out players who get into more trouble than they’re worth. Tucker has put the Ravens in trouble despite his strong denying the allegations. Maybe 16 different people are lying. Maybe they aren’t. For now, we know two things.
One is the league is investigating. The second is that Raven keeps his head low and his mouth closed.
Perhaps the Ravens will wait to see what the league ends. If that’s a strategy, the Ravens probably won’t say anything for months.
Or maybe the Ravens are simply waiting for the start of a new league year that begins next month.
