The hub in parentheses has a new projection bracket, with no changes to the top two lines. It may not be the case if the bracket was updated on Monday.
Alabama is still the overall seed in second place despite losses in Missouri, but the Crimson Tide hosts Kentucky on Saturday. A loss to the Wildcats would certainly drop Alabama to the second seed.
The team most likely to replace Crimson Tide will also be the winner of the No. 2 seed battle on Saturday. Seed Tennessee, who is overall No. 5, is sixth in Seed Texas A&M, and the losers of that game will undoubtedly remain on the No. 2 line.

Also, in that part of the bracket, the third seed Iowa will move to the second seed Houston. The Cougars aren’t necessarily going down, but the Cyclone victory will move them to the spot. It could depend on what other teams do. Another No. 2 seed Wisconsin will play the Oregon host on Saturday.
No. 1 seed Duke and Illinois will play a non-conference game at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Blue Devils, third overall seed, If possible, play the game most yearsbut it was not possible to resolve the typical non-conference part of the calendar. So they tried a second half and were willing to find a partner in Illini.
Duke may be catching Illinois at a good time. Fighting Illini lost two in a row to drop to seventh place in the Big Ten. Still, this is a Duke Quad 1 game. This was all ACC contests as Blue Devils only played three in their previous 15 games.

Kansas drops one seed line
Kansas only fell one line to the sixth seed despite being blown away at BYU on Tuesday to complete a lost trip to Utah. Jayhawks was the fourth seed a week before the NCAA released a top 16 seed.
This is the second consecutive season for Kansas, which appears to have things turned sideways later this year. Last season, the Jayhawks lost three of their last four games in the regular season. Two weeks earlier, they suffered a 29-point loss at the unranked Texas Tech. They then lost 20-11 seed Cincinnati in the Big 12 tournament. A four-point victory over 13th seed Samford in the first round of the NCAA Tournament was followed by a 21-point defeat to Gonzaga.
Other people on the move
Texas Tech was the only team to move the line of one seed or more on Friday’s bracket. The Red Raiders dropped five spots into the S-curve after a loss at TCU this week, but that was 12-17. Completely bracketed after 70-49 pasting at home from the northwest. The Buckeyes fell 15-12 overall overall in the season, with the top three quadrants at 9-12, and those marks aren’t enough to consider either. They will play three of the three of the final four regular-season games that begin on Sunday and Wednesday of the Los Angeles swing. On the weekend, Michigan will travel to Michigan on Friday, taking first place in the Big Ten. Wolverine is half-game leading the Spartans in another Wisconsin match. Michigan has a home game where the Badgers are still on the table, and will host Wolverine in the regular season finale.
