Seven immigrants from Chile have been charged with nationwide robbery, which killed famous athletes, including Travis Kels and Patrick Mahomes, federal officials said Tuesday.
Federal criminal charges sealed Tuesday reveal that since around October 2024, immigrants have been targeting NFL and NBA athletes.
According to the complaint, the suspect was a member of the South American Theft Group (SATG).

The complaint also mentions robbery of Tampa Bay Buccaneers players, Cincinnati Bengals players and Memphis Grizzlies players. Details of the player’s name were not available immediately.
