Kentwood, Michigan – If your puppy is used to a certain standard of living while he is at home, why not continue to pamper them while you are away?
The former TGI Friday location near Woodland Mall has been demolished and will create a room for K9 Resorts. The K9 Resort is where furry friends are on their gorgeous knees.

“We had to be in the retail area within 10-15 minutes of the airport,” added co-owner Mark Ibaska. “It’s not better than being on the corner of 28th Avenue and the Beltline. It was on the market for about five years.
K9 Resorts offers cage-free environments, all-day group play, or private playtime with staff. Sound reduction methods are used to reduce the stress of leaving the house. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities, the organization said.

“It’s easy to say we’re in the pet care business. It’s true, but our focus is more closely tied to the hospitality industry,” added Mark Ibaska. “We are not a benchmark with others in the boarding field. We benchmark organizations such as Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons and even Disney. We are pleased with our four-legged guests. We want to surprise our clients who entrust our family members to us.”
The city of Kentwood has rezoned the area and issued a special use permit to allow for new businesses.
