Two 60-lap qualifying races on Thursday will set the field for the 67th Daytona 500.
Chase Brisco, Those who have acquired pole positionin the first race, a field of 23 cars will be brought into the green flag. Austin Sindrick will finish second in the second race with 22 cars.
Only the front row of Briscoe and Cindric were set at the Daytona 500 in Wednesday’s qualifying session. The rest of the starting lineup is determined by the results of two 150-mile qualifying races known as dueling.

The first race is expected to start on Thursday at 7pm, with the second expected to start around 8:15pm
This field is set to the 67th Daytona 500 with two 60 lap events on the Daytona International Speedway.
Of the 40 slots on the Daytona 500, 36 are guaranteed to chartered teams. The remaining four will settle among nine drivers in the convertible car. Former Cup champions Jimmy Johnson and Martin Truth Jr. are already locked in the field through qualified speeds.
Two Daytona 500 starting spots will be awarded to the best open finishers in each qualifying round.
In the first race, the convertibles are driven by Truex, Justin Allgaier, Helio Castroneves, Chandler Smith and JJ Yeley.
In the second race, the convertibles are driven by Johnson, Coreyla Joy, Anthony Alfredo and BJ McLeod.
