Students dressed in blazers for their final day are seen heading to school in a fleet of luxury cars. The video shows him leaning through the car window, dancing on the sunroof and clicking on a selfie. Students recorded their journey using drones and cameras, but their celebrations were short-lived. The video of the incident, set in the music of the Bollywood film Animal, quickly spread through word of mouth on social media, prompting public protest by questioning the lack of many police interventions.

Many social media users condemned the students’ behavior and called for strict action not only on students but also on parents. One user wrote, “This exaggerated display comes from a lack of refinement in nurture.”
Another comment states, “What is the value they are trying to absorb what they feel comfortable with?! To show off the wealth of their parents! Luxury creates a generation that has left their priorities behind.”
The third said, “I saw them rise from the sunroof and all that education seems to have gone down the drain.” He added the fourth: “School? 12 passes?? Is he aged in addition to being 18 years old, or does he have a valid driver’s license?”
Following widespread rage, Surat police were caught up in the action and began procedures for both students involved in the luxury vehicle convoy and their parents.
