Nick Silianni has clearly heard rumors about Kellen Moore and the New Orleans Saints.
Moore, the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, is reportedly hired as the Saints’ new head coach in the near future. He has begun recruiting candidates for the coaching staff.
However, after the Eagles blew the Super Bowl LIX chief off on Sunday, Syriani begged Moore to stay in Philadelphia.
“Kelen, you know, run this s – tt back, Kellen,” the Eagles head coach said in a presentation at the Lombardi Trophy. “Let’s run through this.”
All the indications are that Syriani fails by persuading Moore to stay with the Eagles. Moore has been connected to the Saints for weeks and reportedly told people in his private life that he wanted to work.
That said, something strange happened, from Josh McDaniels’ infamous spurt of the Indianapolis Colts to the fiasco that involved Liam Cohen last month. Perhaps Moore will leave the saint on the altar.
Regarding the vacancies of New Orleans coordinators, recent reports have identified even Brandon Staley and John Gruden as notable names.
