Gaza:
The shadow of fate draws closer to the future of Gaza and Palestinians living in the enclave as President Donald Trump doubles his threat to end a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The US president warned Hamas that “all hell will be released” following the threat of postponing the exchange of hostages under the war with Israel.
He also said that his plan to “take over Gaza” had the right to return to more than 2 million Palestinians, whom he said “there is no choice” due to the destruction left by Israeli military campaigns. He emphasized that it is not included.
Trump’s ceasefire warning
Republican leaders will set a Saturday deadline for all hostages to be released from Gaza, otherwise “all hell” will break out and he will call for the Israeli Hamas ceasefire to be cancelled. He said he should. The latest, extraordinary intervention in the US in the Middle East came after Hamas threatened to postpone the hostage prisoner exchange.
Describing Hamas’ move as “terrifying,” Trump said, “it will be Israel’s decision” about what ultimately should happen in the ceasefire.
“But as far as I’m concerned, if all the hostages aren’t returned by 12pm on a Saturday – I think it’s the right time – I’ll cancel it, all bets are off, and break hell Let me say, “Trump added that “everything” needs to be released.
“We want to get all of them back. I’m talking for myself. Israel can invalidate it, but for myself on a Saturday at 12 o’clock – and they’re not here If so, all hell will break out.”
He did not elaborate on what threats entail. Trump also threatened to halt aid to Jordan and Egyptian allies.
“Maybe,” Trump told reporters when asked if he would suspend billions of dollars in US aid.
There’s no way to go home for Palestinians
Trump said Palestinians have no right to return to Gaza under the US acquisition plan, explaining his proposal in an excerpt from an interview announced Monday as “future real estate developments.”
The statement is the latest and effective support for ethnic cleansing by the US president, and announced his plans at a summit with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week, leading to the rage of the Arab world and his closest aide. It’s a surprise.
In an interview with Fox’s Brett Bayer, Trump said, “I’ll own it,” and there could be six different places for Palestinians to live outside Gaza under the plan. He said there was.
Asked if Palestinians had the right to return to Gaza, Trump told Bayer:
“It could be five, six, maybe two,” he said. “But we will build a safe community, a little bit away from where they are and build where all of this danger lies.
“In other words, I’m talking about building a permanent place for them, because if they have to come back now, it’s going to take years before you can — it’s inhabitable Not,” he said.
There has been no serious debate so far in the Pentagon or the State Department about how the US can legally or logistically handle the tasks proposed by Trump. However, the announcement was welcomed by the US evangelical allies who supported the Israeli far-right settlers movement and annexation of other occupied Palestinian territories, including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
