Saquon Barkley was clearly one of the most impactful free agent signatures to date throughout the 2024 season.
He solidified it on Sunday by breaking Terrell Davis’s all-time record for rushing and scrimmage yards over regular and postseason.
Barkley only needed 30 rushing yards to break the previous record, and finished the contest with 72 yards rushing in the first half. He also caught six passes for 40 yards.
He ended 2024 with 2,504 yards rushing and 2,857 yards from scrimmage.
“Cool,” Berkley said he would break the rushing record. “To be honest, the most important thing was to win the Super Bowl, because if you don’t win the Super Bowl today, those admiration and all those yards don’t mean anything. So it’s cool I don’t want to downplay it because I couldn’t do it without a boy in advance, so I know how much it means to them.
“For me, I’m grateful. I couldn’t do it without God. But I like that Lombardi Trophy a little more.”
After the match, Jordan Meertata on the left was pointed out, who described Berkley as “a special player like this.”
“There’s a saying, ‘Special players make special plays,'” Mailata said. “I think his work ethic is like that – no one likes it. There’s nothing I can compare to his working style. The mental and physical aspects he brings to the attack – he’s merely physical Not targeted and powerful running, but smart, patient. The offensive coordinator, QB to wide receiver communication he can have between the offensive line and tight end – we’re all involved in the running game. Masu.
“Saquon always says that: “He can’t do great without the greatness of others.” When I heard it, I said, “What do you know? Maybe it’s me And not all Saquon. It’s just a small chance.”
