The Kansas City Chiefs gave up their dream of winning three Super Bowls in a row when the team lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in their biggest NFL game on February 9th.
The Eagles dominated the Chiefs in a 40-22 victory, marking a red-hopping moment for Philadelphia, losing to Kansas City in the 2023 Super Bowl matchup.
Among those hits with major losses: Chiefs tight end Travis Kelse.
Speaking to reporters after the game from the Chiefs Locker Room, Kelse said, “You don’t make everything worse and don’t lose that way.”
“We haven’t done that bad all year round,” Kelse said.
Kelse said the team “didn’t get it offensively,” and he also mentioned the passes the Chiefs had, referring to many turnovers, penalties, dropped passes. Ta.
“We’re not using play calls to run,” he added. “There’s a lot to it.”
Kelse defended the team’s ability to keep the fight up.
“This team is going to fight until it’s over forever, and you saw it,” he told reporters. “Even if the score is delayed, we’re always going to fight.”
Regarding the message to the Eagles, Kelse said his brother, Jason Kelse’s team, had once performed, “Congratulations.”
“Wear the Eagles a hat, man,” he said at another point. “They chased us. All three phases.”
Chiefs coach Andy Reid appears to have told the team after their defeat, according to Kelse: Let’s hurt it…and find a way to get better for it. ”
The Chiefs tight end previously answered questions about retirement, but hasn’t worked on the timing he’s officially planning to cut his helmet forever.

When Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was asked about Kels’ chances of resignation, Mahomes told reporters, “I’ll have Travis decide that decision myself.”
“But that’s because it’s grind that he gets out there and plays 20 games and gets to the Super Bowl,” he added. “He’s a guy in a gold jacket and did enough to become the first Barott Hall of Fame, but I know he still loves the game. He spends time with his family and has it on his own. You can make that decision. I know he’ll be back here with a welcome arm. We love that guy.”
When appearing on January’s “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” Kelse answered a question about his girlfriend, Pop Sensation Taylor Swift.
“She’s totally encouraging me to enjoy this game,” Kelse said. “She comes to Arrowhead (stadium) and comes to the game and cheers me on, so I got all the support of the world to continue chasing these dreams.”
