The Washington Wizards have traded Jonas Valanciunas for the Sacramento Kings for the second pick, the team announced Wednesday.
The deal is ahead of the NBA trade deadline on Thursday.
Sacramento acquired Valanciunas’ $9.9 million salary using most of the $12.8 million non-tax mid-level exceptions. Sources told ESPN’s Bobby Marks that the Kings are sending the 2028 Denver Nuggets’ second round pick (if 34-60) and the second round to Washington in 2029. Denver’s second round pick was acquired from San Antonio on the Dearon Fox trade.

Valanciunas, a 6-foot-11 center, boasts a great touch around the rim, allowing you to extend the floor, especially from a 3-point range.
