Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented President Donald Trump with a golden pager and regular pager during a meeting at the White House on Tuesday. The Jerusalem Post, like sparkling gifts and regular Beeper, was a reference to Israel’s fatal pager attack on Iran in September. Trump thanked Netanyahu for the unusual offering. “It was a great operation,” Trump told Israeli leaders.
In a gift gift gesture, the US President gave Natanyav a photo of the two from the visit.
Lebanon’s bag-packing attack
Last September, thousands of pockets used by Lebanon’s Hezbollah operatives exploded, killing and injuring dozens. A day later, hundreds of transceivers also exploded, killing scores and getting injured.
About two months later, Netanyahu confirmed that pager operations in Lebanon were lit in green. It has been revealed that the Israeli Mossad Intelligence Agency planted explosives in Potens ordered by Hezbollah several months before the explosion on September 17th and 18th.
Israel and Hezbollah have fought across the Lebanese border since the war in Gaza exploded after Hamas attacked Israeli towns in October. Several Hezbollah fighters have since been killed, including Hassan Nasrala, a former Iranian-supporting chief.
Netanyahu of our Israel
Netanyahu arrived in Washington earlier this week to meet with Donald Trump and senior administration officials to discuss the Gaza ceasefire contract and plans for the Middle East.
Following the meeting, Trump vowed that the US would “take over and own” the Gaza Strip and deploy American troops in the region if necessary. He said the US will remove unexploded bombs, remove “site levels,” remove destroyed buildings, and “create economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing to local people.” .
Meanwhile, Netanyahu called Trump “a great friend of Israel’s ever had” and said “the Israelites have great respect for American leaders.” He stated that the US President’s Gaza Plan could “change history” and “pay attention.”
The Israeli leader said Trump “thinks outside the box with fresh ideas,” and “shows his willingness to make holes in traditional thinking.” He also praised Trump in the Gaza hostage deal, saying, “Your leadership brought the hostages home.”
