The community of Southwestan and the Furusberg Central School has been invited to a public forum to discuss the possibility of sharing sports between two schools in the future.
Two public forum meetings are scheduled for the purpose of sharing and collecting information from individual school communities. The meeting will be set at 6:30 pm on Monday at the Fruusberg Junior High School/High School Library at 6:30 pm on Tuesday at 6:30 pm.
Fleet Burg’s principal Daniel Cook and Southwestern’s principal Morain Donahu said that the two schools shared a very successful boy swimming team.
“Looking at enrollment, exercise participation, and bed numbers, it has become more useful to engage in discussions to provide opportunities to compete in school sports,” said Cook. I said.
Two conferences will allow schools to share information that have already been reviewed so far by school committees, administrators, and coaches. At the meeting, two schools promote input gathering from each school community.
“We know that athletics are important in school communities and are seeking opinions before the decision is made,” said Donahu. “If our district decides to move forward to share exercise programs, we will collect school staff and athletes to plan the season, so that both districts will make an equal voice about the decision. Masu.”
The two directors have not yet made a decision on sharing sports, and through these meetings, they are trying to involve the community in a dialogue that respects future decisions. I pointed out.
