Sams Club vs. Costco Cooking Food Testing Test
1. Chikindacos
(The photo shows Costco above and Sams Club below.)
Tacos is not so easy on the night of tacos! Each kit contains seasoned chicken, tortillas, cheese, cabbage, salsa, coriander lime clemma, lime, so you can make your own tacos. The size is so large that the family can enjoy it.
Sams Club Chikintako Skit
Price per pound: $ 5.48 Total Weight: 2.65 Pound Total Cost: $ 14.52
Impressions after tasting:
The chicken is soft and delicious with plenty of umami. I love the combination of coriander clema sauce and salsa. Plenty of tortillas. It remains.
Costco Chicken Kinto Skit
Price per pound: $ 5.49 Total weight: 2.93 Pound total cost: $ 16.09
Impressions after tasting:
The chicken is a little dry and has not much flavor. Everything else in the kit seems to have the same flavor and quality as the cost cosmetic.
Result: Sam’s Club won! 🏆
These kits are almost the same, but the Sams Club version chicken was the most delicious. It was a little spicy and the sauce was delicious. The Costco version seemed a little dry, but you can add taco sauce and additional taco seasoning at any time.
My family never refused tacos, and this was a delicious and easy meal! I thought it was convenient to have all toppings.
2. Peppers meat stuffing
(The photo shows Costco on the left and Sams Club on the right.)
Peppers’ meat is one of my favorite roasted peppers, rice and minced meat, which is a well -balanced diet. Topping cheese makes the roasted pepper sweet and soft, and is delicious and eaten. Each bread contains six peppers of peppers that are ready to bake in the oven.
Tip: Ideal for the cold season as a simple way to make pepper stuffed soup and enjoy the same taste with warm homemade soup.
Sams Club’s pepper stuffed animal:
Price per pound: $ 4.98 Total Weight: 3.82 Pound Total Cost: 19.02
Impressions after tasting:
The peppers were well -fried and soft. The contents were about half of Costco, so it was impossible to eat with one pepper. The taste was delicious, but the spiciness was a little modest than Costco. The amount of cheese was larger than the meat and it was delicious.
Costco pepper stuffed animal:
Price per pound: $ 4.99 Total weight: 3.63 pound total cost: $ 18.11.
Impressions after tasting:
This pepper contains twice the ingredients of Sams Club. In fact, the cooking time was quite long, 60 minutes. The roast pepper was also sweet and soft. The sauce with ingredients was more flavorful and moist, and I liked the place with fresh parsley and herbs.
The result is Costco! Lingering
I really like the taste and texture! The amount of meat and rice per pepper is much larger, so for me it is a Costco pepper! Four out of four family members voted for Costco!
It is noteworthy that the peppers of the Sams Club are also delicious, but if you have to choose one, I choose pepper stuffed peppers than Sams Club.
3. Chicken pot pie
(The photo is Sams Club on the left and Costco on the right.)
Chicken pot pie is a classic favorite as a child, with crispy fabric topped with a creamy stuffing of vegetables and chicken, and I know that most of us are the best. It’s a relieved food definition, but it takes a little time to make it completely from zero, so it makes sense to buy a cooked one on a busy night.
Both Costco Pie and Sams Club Pie are 18 pieces and takes about an hour to bake in the oven.
Sams Club’s Chicken Pot Pie:
Price per pound: 3.79 total weight: 5.08 pound total cost: $ 19.20
Impressions after tasting:
The sauce was thin, with average endow beans and carrots. The chicken was so sticky, my slices were thick and like rubber, and definitely useless. However, the contents were similar to the Marie Calendar chicken pot pie, which we love. The fabric was flake -like and looked like butter, but it was thinner than Costco.
Costco Chicken Pot Pie:
Price per pound: $ 3.99 Total weight: 5.51 Pound total cost: $ 21.98
Impressions after tasting:
The vegetables of this pie are not frozen, but larger and fresh. The filling of this pie is more translucent and has a fresher herbal flavor. Certainly, it is a gourmet or adult -flavored pot pie than the Sams Club. The chicken part is very delicious! There are many flavorful roast chicken here. The crust is thick and very perfect.
The result is Costco! Lingering
This Costco chicken pot pie has definitely become a winner with a majority vote of his family. The Costco version has a higher quality of the ingredients and a more gourmet impression.
In terms of taste, the taste of Sams Club’s cream filling was actually the most favorite, but chicken without soggy taste was inevitable. If you choose one, I will choose this with Costco!
4. Chicken Alfred
(The photo is Sams Club on the left and Costco on the right.)
Chicken Alfred is a rich and creamy pasta dish that uses plenty of parmesan cheese, butter and cream. It is a delicious Italian food that is pleased by a lot of people, and I love my family. My kids like to order this meal at a restaurant, so I was really looking forward to trying this take -and -bake version in both Sams Club and Costco.
Sams Club Chicken Alfred:
Price per pound: 3.98 total weight: 3.28 pound total cost: $ 13.05
Impressions after tasting:
The percentage of chicken on the spiral noodle pasta was quite small, most of which were pasta. I followed the package instructions, but next time I might cover the dishes with foil to avoid drying. It was quite dry. It was delicious, but it didn’t seem to have enough sauce, and it didn’t have enough flavor than Costco.
Costco Chicken Alfred:
Price per pound: $ 4.49 Total weight: 4.06 Pound total cost: $ 18.23
Impressions after tasting:
The Costco version contains plenty of cheese with penne noodles and creamy. The sauce itself was very flavorful and attractive. There were many delicious chicken. I liked the really delicious chicken without chicken.
The result is Costco!
These dishes have a very different taste. Costco was much more sauce and chicken, and it was a more delicious experience. Even if it’s more expensive, I choose Cocto for this dish. Four out of four of us voted for this cost -cosmetic chicken alfred!
Sams Club’s cooked meal and Costco cooked meals:
Best Taco Skit -Sams Club’s Best Pepper Plush -Costco’s Best Chicken Pot Pie -Costco’s Best Chicken Alfred -Costco
As a whole, Costco’s victory! 🏆
Costco won in these direct comparisons, but the prepared sections were abundant and actually seemed more diverse than Costco. I think that both stores have a substantial side dish corner. Each has a favorite.
