LOGAN, Utah — USU once again ranks among the top online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in the country, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report. With a significant jump in rankings in 2025, USU is now ranked in the top 25 and top 50 in multiple rankings.
#14 Best Online Degree Programs for Veterans (up 6 from 2024). #25 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs (up 7 from 2024). #28 Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans (up 14 from 2024). Top 46 Online Master’s Degrees in MBA Programs (+19 from 2024).
As USU Online enters its 30th year, plans are underway to further enhance its online portfolio so students can continue to advance their careers, change lives, and impact their communities.
“Our goal is to provide access to affordable, high-quality products everywhere, and we are proud to have our efforts recognized with this ranking,” said Vice President of USU Online. Ryan Hobbs said. “New services are in various stages of planning and development to support the university’s vision to expand and strengthen its online business while increasing enrollment.”
In 1995, USU Online initially offered only a small number of independent study courses via email. Since then, we have grown to more than 60 fully online credit-earning programs.
