FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Robin Glazer, the New England Patriots’ executive vice president of football operations and one of the team’s top executives for the past 18 seasons, has informed the team of his plans to step down, according to officials. That’s what it means.
The departure of Glazer, who is scheduled to serve until mid-February, will leave a huge void in the organization as it transitions under new manager Mike Vrabel.
Glaser joined the Patriots in 2007 as senior ownership advisor and club advisor. Her first day on the job coincided with the NFL’s investigation into the Patriots’ video recording procedures, dubbed by some as “Spygate,” which ultimately cost the team a first-round draft pick the following season.
