Diving with a score of 183.75), and Tyler Cappa (200 individual medley, 2:14.58) helped Champaign Central to a 104-78 victory over Centennial in the Unit 4 pool. James Reynolds won the 100 freestyle at Centennial in 53.28 seconds, and Evan Piercy completed the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.17.
HERSHER — The Watseka girls basketball team (12-1) went on the road, defeating Hersher in a nonconference decision 49-32 as Krista Holohan and Noel Schroeder each scored 15 points.
MONTICELLO — Carter Foran’s 13 points and Nolan Buhnerkemper’s eight points were not enough for the Monticello boys basketball team, which lost 41-37 to Teutopolis on its home floor. The Woodshoes led by as many as 11 points in the third quarter and held on despite being outscored 11-7 by Sages (6-7) in the final frame.
