1. When it comes to free food apps, the McDonald’s app was a clear winner.

The McDonald’s app is a hit with the Hip2Save team and our readers. SO MANY PEOPLE told me why it’s the absolute tops. I have to agree that using the app is the fastest way to find the best deals AND earn yourself free food. Just recently, our team spotted offers for $2 Big Macs & a FREE Medium Fry with any $3 purchase.

It only takes 200 points to snag FREE fast food on this app like hash browns, a small waffle fries, an Icedream cone, or a chocolate chunk cookie. The more points you accumulate, the better the reward! With 600 points you can even score favorites like a Chick-fil-A Nuggets.

The app makes it super easy to customize your favorite menu items. Plus, members also receive a FREE birthday reward each year and are always the first to know about new menu items!

This app is my own personal recommendation for one of the top food apps with free food offers. It’s been years since I’ve eaten here, but I’ve been testing out tons of apps over the past year to bring you all the best deals and I’ve found that the Burger King app is one of the most user-friendly. It runs smoothly and is updated regularly. Plus, there are always a plethora of different offers that score you free food, a free upgrade to a larger size, a money-saving family bundle deal, or a big discount on your favorite sandwich.

Royal Perks members score 10 points called “Crowns” for every $1 spent. After $25, you’re eligible for FREE fast food like a small order of hash browns. The offers get better the more points you earn! Plus, members also can upgrade their fries, hash browns, or drinks to a larger size for no charge and get 2X the Crowns during their entire birthday month! 🥳 Even with Burger King’s higher prices, this app gets the crown from me. 👑

5. The Subway app lets you cash in rewards for a $2 discount.

For a limited time, score 20% off any 6″ or Footlong Sub using code TWENTYOFF.

Earn enough and you can redeem them for your favorite food items! Plus, the app makes it easy to customize your order or see deals! No wonder the Whataburger by me always seems to have a line out the door! 🚗🚙🚗🚙

9. The Dutch Bros. Coffee app is another one of the apps that gives you free food (well, a free drink) when you sign up!

If you live near a Dutch Bros. and like their coffee, download their app to start earning rewards. It’s easy to collect points and cash them in for a free drink of your choice! This app is a favorite of Hip2Save’s Shane because it’s so easy to use. He says it’s super simple to accrue points to get more drinks!

10. One of the best free food apps is the Domino’s app.

The Domino’s app is perfect for when you’re craving a slice and want a good deal. Rewards members receive 10 points for every $5 spent. Earn FREE Domino’s, like 16-piece Parmesan Bread Bites, after racking up just 20 points. Cash in for a FREE Medium 2-topping Pizza after just 60 points! The fast food app also has exclusive coupons and lets you track your delivery driver! 🍕

Another pizza chain that has a lot of deals and a rewards program is Papa John’s. With each order, you earn “Papa Dough.” You’ll get 1 point for every $1 spent. Earn $2 in Papa Dough with every 15 points you earn! 11. Score free food rewards on the Taco Bell app. 

Another one of the apps that gives you free food when you sign up is the Taco Bell App. My coworker, Monica, says the fast food chain has some useful mobile offers. In fact, the restaurant drops new deals every Tuesday! Get access to these deals by downloading the app and joining the Taco Bell Rewards program.
