It’s done. It’s now Week 17, which is championship week for most leagues, and if you’re reading this, that means you’re probably competing for the ultimate prize.
By now, you probably have few questions about the lineup. We’ll probably be running with the players who helped us get here, which makes sense. They are your buddies and you want to cross the finish line with the players who helped you move forward.
But the key to winning a fantasy championship, apart from luck, is playing the right matchups. So don’t overlook someone on the bench who could be a better option than a struggling starter.
Remember that your opponents also have a solid roster, so you will need every point you can get. And I hope you don’t get injured during the match. I hope you have a big celebration by the time we get there Monday night.
Congratulations on advancing to the championship game. Good luck in your Week 17 matchup. And I hope everyone has a great holiday.

Jayden Daniels is going to win Rookie of the Year, but Bo Nix made it a fun race. And the Knicks are firmly established as fantasy quarterbacks this season, with at least one more big game coming up in Week 17.
I like the Knicks as a top 10 fantasy quarterback in the matchup in Cincinnati. This is an important game for both teams, and if the Broncos win or tie against the Bengals, they will qualify for the playoffs.
A loss would make things interesting for Denver, Cincinnati, and potentially Indianapolis and Miami heading into Week 18, but let’s worry about this game first. And the Knicks have a chance to play against the Bengals.
Cincinnati ranks sixth in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, with five quarterbacks scoring at least 28.4 fantasy points against the Bengals this season. Cincinnati averages 22.7 fantasy points per game at this position.
The Knicks have scored at least 23.4 fantasy points in three of their last five games, and have scored at least 20.1 fantasy points in three consecutive road games at Kansas City, Las Vegas and the Chargers. He won’t be afraid of this moment.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bengals win the game, but I expect a shootout. It should be fun to watch the Knicks go up against Joe Burrow. And the Knicks probably aren’t far behind in terms of production.
It’s been a great rookie season so far for the Knicks, both in fantasy and reality. And he should help fantasy managers win a potential championship in Week 17.

Dolphins (at CLE)
DST could be a fantasy option for the Dolphins to win the league against the Browns in Week 17 with Dorian Thompson-Robinson at quarterback. In Week 16 against the Bengals, he was sacked five times and had two interceptions. Cleveland also failed against Cincinnati, scoring only six points. Miami has had seven sacks in the past two games against Houston and San Francisco, with two turnovers during that span, and the Dolphins have allowed just 37 points combined against the Texans and Colts. It should be a big week for the Dolphins in Week 17 DST.
Colts (vs. NYG) Rams (vs. ARI) Chargers (vs. NE)
Falcons (WAS)
The Falcons’ DST has been great against Desmond Ridder and Drew Lock over the past two weeks against the Raiders and Giants. Now, the Falcons have to face Jaden Daniels, but it will be hard to trust Atlanta’s defense in this matchup. Despite the Commanders committing five turnovers against the Eagles in Week 16, Washington still scored 36 points and Daniels was only sacked once. The Falcons’ DST likely helped them advance to Week 17, but given the matchup, this is a good week to find another DST.
