Welcome to the Week 17 Fantasy Football Playbook. It begins Wednesday with two Christmas Day games.
This column features easy-to-understand fantasy advice for the league and DFS during the season, including score predictions, over/unders, win probability, and of course, season-long league and DFS tips. This guide will help you make all kinds of decisions, including sit/start moves, last-minute waiver additions, lineup selections, and more.
This advice is centered around a 12-team PPR league with a relatively standard scoring and lineup setup (1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 flex, 1 K, 1 D/ST). However, I often play “shallow” or “deep” leagues for beginners. The chart shows all players projected to have at least 6.0 fantasy points this week, as well as all D/STs. “Matchups” are automatically determined using a proprietary metric that takes into account the raw fantasy points and volume-adjusted fantasy points that opposing defenses have allowed to each position this season.
(Editor’s note: Predictions and rankings are a near perfect match, but when predictions are close, other factors such as upside and risk may cause a player to rank slightly higher or lower. This column may be updated over the weekend, but at least the rankings will be updated on the site and the predictions will be updated in-game until kickoff).
