SIMONTON, Texas (Katy News Coverage) — A new luxury wedding and event venue that promises modern luxury with natural views of the bayou will open in January at 7920 FM 1489 in Simonton.
White Oaks on the Bayou is located near the growing Katy-Fulshear area and features floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple event spaces, and amenities for both intimate ceremonies and large celebrations. .
“White Oaks on the Bayou was created with today’s couples in mind,” said Shiraz Ghauri, venue owner and director. “We wanted to provide a space that was luxurious yet flexible enough to let each couple’s individuality shine. From the architecture to the amenities, every detail was carefully considered.”
This venue offers customizable packages including catering, floral design, and event coordination. Facilities include on-site parking, dedicated space for wedding party preparation, and state-of-the-art audio-visual systems.
“This is more than just a venue, it’s an experience,” Ghauri said. “We aim to create memories that will last a lifetime, not only for the couples, but also for their families and guests.”
The venue will host an open house on January 19, 2025, offering tours and special reservation benefits. Couples can also arrange private tours through the venue’s website.
White Oaks on the Bayou joins the growing wedding industry in the greater Houston area, where venue options range from historic downtown buildings to rural mansions.
