Hours later, those words proved true when Kelly joined the group.
Kelly is a redshirt senior who has been at Holy Cross since 2020. He was named to the All-Patriot League Third Team in 2023 as a standout Interior offensive lineman and is expected to provide meaningful experience and defense in the Tar Heels’ trenches in 2020. 2025.
As Belichick hinted earlier Monday, more transfers will be coming to shore up North Carolina’s roster in his debut season as coach. UNC finished the 2024 season with a 6-6 record, but finished 3-5 in the ACC and 13th in the conference.
