Gate City Bank promotes Lily Keith
Lilly Kees has been promoted to Customer Service and Sales Supervisor at Gate City Bank. A native of nearby Carlos, she joined the bank in February 2023 and previously served as a customer service representative.
Mr. Keyes is currently studying business administration at Minnesota State University-Moorhead. Outside of work and school, she enjoys staying active in her local area, especially volunteering with younger children at school. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors with my family. I especially love watching my brother’s high school football and my sister’s college rugby.

Jimny Insurance Agency receives award
Zimny Insurance Agency maintains its best practice status in 2024, joining an elite group of independent insurance agencies nationwide.
The Best Practices Agency designation is given to participants in best practices surveys that analyze and document the business practices of the industry’s top-performing insurance agencies.
More than 2,600 independent institutions across the United States were nominated for the selection process. In the 2024 survey year, only 235 independent agencies nationwide achieved and maintained Best Practices agency status.

Best practice agencies are selected every three years through a rigorous nomination and certification process. To achieve best practice status, each agency must be among the top 35-45 agencies in its revenue category.
Best Practice Agencies maintain their status annually during a three-year cycle by submitting extensive financial and operational data for review. 2024 will be the third year of the current three-year learning cycle.
