Two brothers who are high-end real estate agents have been charged with drugging and violently raping dozens of women.
Oren and Tal Alexander, along with their brother Aron, are accused by federal prosecutors in New York of sex trafficking and using their positions to exploit women from at least 2010 to 2021. Charges have also been filed in Florida, where the men live. .
Oren, 37, and Tal, 38, are known for brokering luxury real estate deals in New York City and Miami, and have previously brokered properties owned by the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The indictment says they used “deception, fraud, and coercion” to persuade the women to travel with them or attend parties and events, sometimes with the promise of romantic relationships.
It is alleged that the women were then drugged and raped by one or more of their brothers and other men, who then took away luxuries such as concert tickets.
New York State Prosecutor Damian Williams said the brothers met their victims through dating apps, social events, clubs and party promoters who “placed” women.
Victims were often given drugs such as cocaine or GHB, or their drinks were secretly spiked.
“In some cases, the defendants physically restrained and held the victims down during the rapes and sexual assaults, ignoring their screams and clear requests to stop,” according to the indictment.
Prosecutors in the Florida case described the 2016 “gang rape” of a woman who said she was invited to a “barbecue” at Aron Alexander’s Miami Beach apartment in 2016, but no one was there. said.
As she begged for her release, she said another relative, Ohad Fisherman, who remains at large, held her down while the brothers argued over who would rape her first.
Prosecutors encouraged other potential victims to come forward.
The Alexander brothers were arrested in Florida on Wednesday and are scheduled to appear in Miami federal court before being taken to New York.
