“This collection represents the intersection of luxury and performance.” Jaylen Brown’s written statement. “It’s not just about looking good, it’s about feeling good and being able to perform at your best. The 741 reflects who I am as an athlete and as someone who is passionate about pushing limits, and I love sports and We’re going to do this in both fashion.”
Braun designed the 741 Performance Collection, and each piece is made from premium fabrics that offer superior comfort, flexibility, and durability. Created for those who enjoy stylish design, lead an active, fast-paced lifestyle and want to feel confident and comfortable during sporting activities or walking around town.
In a conversation between Entrepreneur and Sports Illustrated, Brown admitted that the late Kobe Bryant inspired him to create his line.
“Honestly, I got this idea from Kobe (Bryant), rest in peace. Before he passed away, he started his own shoe brand and signed athletes and gave them better deals and percentages. I remember reading an article about it and thinking that was terrible. Throughout my experience, I have experienced how big companies value your creativity and how they value you. We all approach things the same way. I was looking for a brand of the future, not a brand of the past. I couldn’t find one, so I had to start.”
The collection will be available in the future through select pop-up events and exclusive retail partnerships.
