Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), an independent collection of luxury boutiques from around the world, is celebrating 600 members, adding 80 new properties in 2024 and seven new properties in 2025. A completely new opening is planned.
SLH, which celebrates its 35th anniversary next year, will offer seven new and exciting properties from Italy to the Galapagos.
The Plain Hotel, designed by German designer Philipp Plein, will open in Milan, Italy in January, offering a 13-room hotel offering nightlife and fine dining. In February, the Goethe Hotel, inspired by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s ‘Voyeurs through Italy’, will open in Rome, just a stone’s throw from the city’s Trevi Fountain.

Further north, Park Lane Copenhagen will debut in January, offering the city a stylish 69-room all-white boutique hotel in a prime location. Barrington’s Hotel & Residences will open in April in Almancil, Portugal. This 31-room, 5-star hotel offers one of the region’s best golf and beach experiences.
Laguna Coast Resort will offer an eco-retreat to travelers heading to the Greek island of Naxos in May as part of SLH’s Consilate Collection. Levantine Hill Hotel will open in June 2025 on the grounds of Levantine Hill Estate in Australia’s Yarra Valley.
Additionally, the luxurious Hermès Galapagos Mega Catamaran will enter service in April 2025, offering space for up to 20 people in 12 suites with private balconies and Jacuzzis.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Hilton announced their partnership in July. SLH hotels and resorts can now be booked on the Hilton channel, and those with a Hilton Honors loyalty membership can also earn and redeem points on stays at SLH hotels.
