Oetker Collection, known worldwide for its luxury Masterpiece Hotels, is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of a new hotel in Saint-Tropez, in collaboration with the Pariente and Essebag families. The hotel’s name has not yet been revealed, but it is expected to open in time for the 2027 season. Designed as a tranquil retreat, the property has a charming village shape, with several two-story buildings offering expansive sea views, a tranquil pool, and lush natural surroundings. .
This new opening in Saint-Tropez joins the illustrious Oetker Collection of hotels, following the recent debuts of Hotel La Palma in Capri and the long-awaited Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach. The announcement underscores the company’s strategy to selectively expand its portfolio, focusing on the world’s most attractive destinations. Although each Oetker Collection hotel boasts a unique identity, they all share a commitment to exceptional hospitality, innovative gastronomy, and the timeless elegance and charm that characterize the brand.
Ideally located between the emblematic town of Saint-Tropez and the beautiful Pampelonne beach in Ramatuelle (just a 5-minute drive), this hotel is located on the grounds of the former Le Mas Bellevue Saint-Tropez. The property features 53 rooms and suites, each with a private terrace or patio, an expansive infinity pool, a state-of-the-art wellness center, a lively bar and restaurant, and stunning views of the surrounding area. You can watch it. And the Mediterranean. Enjoy an authentic Provence experience rich in local flavors and scenery in an atmosphere of charm, sophistication and elegance. The design incorporates natural materials such as aged tiles, local stone, climbing plants and a wooden pergola to blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
The visionary architect behind the design, Olivier Raffaelli, is a founding partner of Triptych, a prominent French-Brazilian firm known for its naturalistic architectural style. He designed the hotel as a place where the essence of Saint-Tropez comes to life through architecture, with the goal of creating a sanctuary where sea, earth and sun are in perfect harmony.
Mr. Raffaelli commented: “The hillsides surrounding the hotel are not just a backdrop, but an integral part of the experience. Almost like a secret, they offer rare intimacy and panoramic views of the sea. To enhance your sense of belonging to this land. Natural elements such as stone, wood and Mediterranean plants were chosen.” The landscape itself becomes an extension of the architecture, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. “Every space in the hotel, from the guest rooms to the common areas, is designed to provide a fully immersive sensory experience: the softness of the light, the scent of the pine trees, the whisper of the breeze.”
Designed by French interior designers and architects Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier of Paris-based studio Gilles & Boissier, the hotel is a sophisticated yet understated retreat where everything exudes tranquility and serenity. Provide. Boissier likens it to the experience of sailing, saying, “With the slightest gesture, you can get so close to the water that you can feel the sea spray gently caressing your face. Unlike a yacht, which is separated from the sea by layers, here everything is within reach. An invitation to embrace the essentials you embody.
Inspired by the unique atmosphere of Saint-Tropez, Gilles & Boissier’s design vision unfolds through a sophisticated blend of materials and textures. The lobby features textured plaster walls with intricate patterns and pristine white stone floors. Roman-style arches gracefully complement the warm wooden beams, evoking the charm of a traditional Provençal farmhouse. Every element has been thoughtfully crafted to strike the perfect balance between refined elegance and rustic simplicity.
The rooms’ arched windows open onto a terrace with stunning sea views. Mr. Boisier continues: “Raw brushed and molded wood panels wrap the room like a jacket carefully placed on bare shoulders, providing warmth and comfort. A straw headboard complements the room’s muted colors. , ropes, a recurring design element, grace many details. The colors of Saint-Tropez. Subtle pastels, warm ochres, and subtle pinks complement the sun-kissed red tiled roofs. They are harmoniously combined.”
The hotel has been intentionally designed to blend into its surroundings, offering an intimate yet welcoming atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy the tranquility of a secluded haven. The grounds are adorned with native plants, olive trees and meticulously maintained gardens, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to preserving the area’s natural beauty.
Timo Grunert, CEO of Oetker Collection, added: “We are simply delighted to have such a trinity of new projects, from the recently opened Hotel La Palma in Capri, to The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach, and now our upcoming first hotel in the United States in St. Petersburg. ” Tropez – all synonymous with charm and destinations loved by many valued guests. Our hotel in Saint-Tropez includes all the elements of a true masterpiece, and we look forward to creating an unparalleled haven that embraces both the relaxed authenticity and sophistication of this region. ”
