Check out InWin Infinite. It’s the most ridiculously flashy PC case that isn’t shaped like sneakers or a shark. InWin showed off this curved glass and aluminum slab at Computex in Taipei, and it’s finally ready for sale… if you’re ready to buy it for 6,776 euros. This is slightly less than American Freedom Bucks’ $7,093.
What makes a PC case worth more than a used car price? Nothing. Nothing, okay? You can stop reading now.
But if you have to go on, InWin’s promotional materials won’t stop touting the 180-degree curved glass that covers the front of the chassis. “Enclosure” may be an exaggeration. This design is so piecemeal that it clearly does nothing to actually separate the parts from the surrounding area for cooling or dust protection, even if the parts are in good condition. yeah. Cable-free method with rear connector support.
A distinctive aspect of this case is the way its massive base rotates the entire top 45 degrees while the glass panel rotates in the opposite direction. This is to allow easy access to the internals for modification…though as far as I can see it would still be quite a hassle to actually access the power supply. Also note that in the closed position, all monitor and accessory cables pop out from the top. I think it’s innovative, but it seems to ruin the designer look.
On the technical side, the Infinite supports eight PCIe slots, a 250mm power supply, a 370mm-long graphics card, and two 2.5-inch internal storage drives. (Seriously? Just two small ones?) There’s room for one 120mm fan in the back and three in the front, with the option of a 360mm radiator instead. Its overall height and width is less than a meter, and it weighs just over 103 pounds. It was unpacked and set up, no parts included. (Just shipping it in a protective box costs over 220 pounds.)

This seems like something made specifically for an esports mansion full of online casinos that teenagers shill for, which can’t be used legally in most countries. It is also not available for purchase in most countries. At the moment, this item is only listed in InWin’s EU store, where it’s listed as “sold out,” and it doesn’t appear to be present in the US store at all. My heart bleeds.
