2025 Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest
Marietta Elks Lodge #477 will host the local Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest on Saturday, January 4th at St. Mary Catholic School in Marietta.
More than 3 million boys and girls ages 8 to 13 across the United States participate in this free-throw shooting contest, which highlights the Elks’ commitment to America’s youth.
The contest will have men’s and women’s divisions. Within each division, contestants will be divided into categories based on their age as of April 1, 2025: 8-9 years, 10-11 years, and 12-13 years. The winners of each category within each division will advance to regionals. The contest will be held in Marietta on Sunday, January 26th.
The contest begins at 9am. All participants must register on the Contest Site between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. on the day of the Contest. Admission and participation are free. Refreshments will be provided at a local lodge after the contest.
