Hilton, in partnership with Zhong Ding Guo Sheng, announced plans for China’s first LXR Hotels & Resorts property. The luxury hotel is scheduled to open in 2027 in the historic city of Xi’an. The move marks an important step for Hilton in expanding its luxury hotel portfolio in China.
The decision to expand into China is in response to the growing demand for luxury travel and personalized lodging experiences. Commenting on the announcement, Qian Jin, Hilton’s president of Greater China and Mongolia, noted that this expansion enriches Hilton’s portfolio of regional luxury brands and provides a more diverse hospitality experience to the Chinese market.
Debuting in 2018, LXR Hotels & Resorts has since grown to 13 luxury hotels worldwide, each offering a unique hotel and resort experience defined by individualized design, personal service and cultural experiences. I am. The Xi’an hotel will join Hilton’s existing luxury brands in China, including Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.

The 118-room LXR Hotels & Resorts hotel in Xi’an provides a luxurious base from which to explore the world-famous capital of ancient China’s 13 dynasties. The hotel is located in the lively Datang Guangming City, adjacent to notable landmarks such as the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Daijian Pagoda and Da Ci’en Temple.
