The amount of chopping I do for Sunday batch cooking and summer canning is enormous. Since I have some free time, I decided to find a way to save time. It took me a few minutes to “chop” a large red onion, a bell pepper, and a few stalks of celery into large dice. I tend to use a gyuto knife, but this one was super easy and quick. You do have to cut the vegetables a little to get them into the machine, but it’s worth it. Overall highly recommended. The instructions say it’s not dishwasher safe, but a quick wash by hand was sufficient. It’s very affordable. I love it!
I now make most of my meals at home again, don’t eat out as much as I used to, and eat more vegetables. The box shredder and mandoline shredder I used to use were starting to wear away my fingertips and skin. I was constantly cutting myself when making end pieces and this product saved my fingers.
