LANSING — Okemos High School and East Lansing High School remain the top two schools in the region in this month’s U.S. News & World Report rankings.
The report ranks schools nationally, statewide and in metropolitan areas based on criteria such as graduation rates, college readiness and test scores. The report also takes into account how diverse the student population is.
Okemos and East Lansing still rank in the top 50 statewide, despite dropping a spot from last year’s statewide rankings. Haslett High School placed third in the region, taking away Williamston High School’s previous spot.
