This is a large piece of furniture that is all made of wood and takes up a lot of space. So cute and fun! This is perfect for use in kindergartens, churches, or if you have a large enough room. My kids love pretend kitchen and pizza is their favorite food so they love being able to make their own pizza. In fact, it’s unique. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pizza play kitchen like this. It’s a hit!
The pizza toppings are all made of felt and come with cute little containers where you can place your toppings, just like in a pizzeria. Once the pizza is baked, you’ll have a sturdy box to put it in. There is a button on top of the oven that makes a sound when pressed. There is a nice cabinet underneath to store additional accessories.
Although my kids are a little older (6, 7, and 10 years old), they still love playing restaurant. I’m looking forward to adding this to my other regular kitchen furniture, but I think I’ll have to set it up on a block so it’s tall enough for them. I am short. Size-wise, it’s probably best suited for 3-4 year olds, but be careful if you have toddlers, as there are lots of little pieces of felt that they could reach into and swallow. Since we make pizza regularly, we think the kids will enjoy making play pizza to order.
I like assembling furniture, but it took me longer than I expected. There are many parts. The instructions were well written, but there were a few things I installed incorrectly and had to go back and change things when they didn’t assemble correctly. It took several hours. All the hardware was there and the screw sizes were similar so there were a few extra parts, but I ended up missing them later because I used some of the wrong sizes.
