Hello AJ readers!
This week there was a break-in, two businesses are on hold, and a new tortilla business has opened.
This week, multiple early morning break-ins occurred at multiple businesses along Indiana Avenue and 82nd Street. Business activities include restaurants, salons, toy stores, musical instrument stores, and more. No arrests had been made as of Thursday.
Details: At least six businesses in Lubbock were damaged in a break-in early Monday. Here’s what we know
Outlaw Egg Rolls food truck announced its last day of operation will be Dec. 15. The owners are looking to bring in new talent to take over the business and ongoing event contracts. The other closure is by American Freight, which is closing all of its stores, including its Lubbock store at 4426 34th St., Suite B. The closing sale has begun, but the final business day has not been announced.
Villa’s Tortillas (2331 34th St.) opened Thursday. The new store sells freshly made flour and corn tortillas.
I look forward to meeting the owners of Wolforth’s new restaurant next week, as well as the owners of the recently opened DryBar in Lubbock. The AJ team is also working on holiday content, so stay tuned for more fun content coming soon.
As always, thanks for reading and supporting AJ.
