Spread: UTEP -3 |Will the Miners cover? Check out SportsLine’s Week 10 predictions here
Neither Middle Tennessee nor UTEP are in the Conference USA race, but a win here would cement both teams in the middle of the standings, at least for now. The Blue Raiders and Miners haven’t had much success this year. In conference play, they have a total of 2 wins and 7 losses. MTSU’s only win came against Kennesaw State, while UTEP defeated FIU a few weeks ago to give young coach Scotty Walden his first career FBS win. Don’t expect a ton of points. UTEP ranks eighth in Conference USA in scoring offense with 17 points per game, but Middle Tennessee isn’t far behind at ninth with 16.9 points per game.

Spread: Colorado -1 | Will the Rams cover? Check out SportsLine’s Week 10 predictions here
Colorado State University is quietly in the thick of the Mountain West Conference race. While much of the attention has focused on programs like No. 15 Boise State and UNLV, which earned the first AP ranking in program history earlier this year, the Rams are off to a 3-0 start in league play and are unscathed. There are only three teams: the Broncos and San Diego State. Nevada is at the other end of the spectrum. The Wolfpack seemed to have turned a corner with a win over Oregon State on October 12th, but then lost two straight in the MWC and fell to a winless Hawaii team by 21 points in Week 9. Ta. conference game.
