MANISTIQUE — Transnation Title Agency, an employee-owned and operated title company, is proud to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Founded by Kate Schuetter in October 2014, Transnation Title has grown from a one-person operation in Manistique to a thriving company serving the entire Upper Peninsula (UP) and beyond.
“It was a great trip.” Kate Schutter, owner and northern division manager at Transnation Title Agency, said: “We started with a vision to provide superior service and security for real estate transactions in UP. It has been truly rewarding to see our team grow and the number of satisfied customers we have served. It’s rewarding.”
The Manistique store currently has three full-time employees: Kate Schuetter, Lisa Sumbera and Rebecca Miron.
Transnation Title is built on the dedication and teamwork of our employees. The company has expanded to include offices in Marquette (opened in 2016), Houghton (opened in 2018), and Escanaba (opened in 2023). With a combined staff of more than 15 full-time employees throughout the UP, Transnation provides superior service and local expertise to customers throughout the region.

Transnation Title’s commitment to excellence has resulted in over 12,000 file closures since 2014. With the recent acquisition of a license in Wisconsin, the company expects continued growth.
