After a near win over East Stroudsburg on the road last week, Lock Haven heads to Westchester for a noon kickoff in today’s college football game.
The Bald Eagles lost 38-35 to East Stroudsburg, dropping to 3-5 this year. It was another game this year where the Bald Eagles fought until the end and had a chance to win.
Lock Haven led 35-30 entering the fourth quarter, but Tahir Mills’ 14-yard touchdown run gave it a three-point lead with 8:44 remaining. The Bald Eagles had chances after scoring, but were unable to tie the game or take the lead.
Jackson Ostrovsky had another big day, completing 17 of 36 for 281 yards and throwing four touchdown passes. Lock Haven also had success on the ground, with Damir Green also averaging 6.8 yards per carry on 13 carries for 89 yards.

Westchester defeated Millersville 41-23 last week and enters today’s game with a 3-5 record. Westchester’s defense was solid despite the record.
